# Dreamforce 2026: new ideas, familiar faces and what's next for Eposly

The Eposly team spent Dreamforce 2026 in San Francisco from 15 to 17 September, showing Eposly Point of Sale on iPad and Eposly Payments, and taking home ideas from sessions on the public sector and agentic commerce.

There was plenty to bring home this year: ideas from the sessions, conversations with customers and partners, and the excitement of sharing what we've been building at Eposly.

Between sessions at Moscone, product demos and catching up with familiar faces, we kept coming back to one question: as more services move onto Salesforce, how can we make paying for them just as connected?

Here are a few highlights from our week.

## A more connected experience for residents

One public sector story that stayed with us came from the City of Niagara Falls. Its "one window" service model brings city services together on Salesforce, giving residents, businesses and visitors a single place to get started. The city is now introducing Agentforce step by step.

What stood out was the focus on the people using those services. Bringing systems together is part of the work. Making services easier to navigate is what gives that work meaning.

For us, it also raised a practical question: what happens when someone needs to pay? Whether they're applying for a permit or renewing a licence, payment is part of their experience with the agency. It deserves a place in the planning from the start.

## What agentic commerce means for payments

Stripe's session explored how enterprise retailers are using AI agents to structure product data, prevent fraud and bring checkout directly into agent interfaces.

It gave us plenty to think about, especially the data those experiences depend on. An agent needs access to transaction information to help with what happens after a sale.

That's a connection we're excited about at Eposly. Every Eposly payment is recorded natively in Salesforce, so transaction data is available to Flow, reporting and the tools built on them, including Agentforce. Teams can see what happened, trigger the next action and follow up from the customer record.

## Sharing what we've been building

We brought an early look at Eposly Point of Sale (https://eposly.io/products/point-of-sale) on iPad to Dreamforce. It's the same Eposly Point of Sale teams already use, in a compact, touch-friendly format. Staff can scan barcodes with the iPad camera and complete a sale away from the counter, with no separate scanner. The app is rolling out to early-adopter customers first, with more to share soon.

We also demoed Eposly Payments, our new product for collecting payments inside Salesforce. Teams can take card payments in person and over the phone, cash, and one-time bank payments in the US, and set up recurring payments on a saved card for memberships, donations and payment plans. Every payment is recorded on the customer record and available for reporting, automation and customer service.

## Time with the community

Some of the highlights happened outside the sessions.

We started the week at the GRAX Dreamforce Kickoff Happy Hour on Monday, joining our sister company GRAX, customers and partners from across the AscendX group. It was a chance to catch up before the conference got into full swing.

On Tuesday, we co-sponsored the Carahsoft Public Sector Networking Reception at The Hibernia. Alongside food, drinks and a live performance from Sugar Ray, there were conversations about licensing, permitting and the role of payments in modernising public services.

Thank you to Carahsoft for bringing the community together and to everyone who spent time with us.

We also enjoyed spending time with the California DMV team, which is bringing cashiering, payments and reporting together in one Salesforce environment across its field offices. Connecting with the people behind projects like this is a particularly rewarding part of Dreamforce.

## Coming home with fresh ideas

We left Dreamforce with fresh ideas for our products and a clearer sense of the challenges customers and partners are working through.

Across public services, retail and AI, we saw opportunities to make payments a more connected part of the customer experience. That's work we're excited to keep building on.

To everyone who met with us, watched a demo or stopped for a conversation, thank you for being part of our week.
