# Eposly Point of Sale October 2026 release

This release introduces recurring payments, alongside improvements to fulfilment, cash register management and receipts.

## Payments

- **Recurring payments:** Create and charge subscriptions and recurring payments, including starting them directly from a POS order.
- **Deposits:** Take a deposit as part of the POS payment flow. Deposit orders get a custom order status so staff can identify them, and you can mark when the order is finalised or picked up to complete it.
- **Partial pay-by-link payments:** Pay-by-link now supports paying part of an order balance, not only the full amount.

## Orders and fulfilment

- **Save orders without an address:** Save orders before a fulfilment address is added. Payment stays blocked until the address is in place.
- **Ship-to tax:** Tax now uses each item's own fulfilment address. This is the new default when you use fulfilment.
- **Custom fulfilment fields:** Custom fulfilment components can now pass additional fields into Eposly Point of Sale.
- **Order and item notes:** A new Order Notice field shows staff key details about the order. Item notes can now be configured with field sets, so you can collect custom data.

## Cash register management

- **Closing summaries:** Sessions can be balanced when only discrepancies are recorded. The New button on the list view is now configurable.
- **Session tiles:** Payment totals now show for Pending and Validated sessions.
- **Forced user logout after session balance:** Balancing a session now logs the user out only when the session's work date matches.

## Receipts

- **Gift card and stored value receipts:** Switch gift card activation receipts on or off, and customise them.

## Other enhancements

- Users can switch location when creating an order.
- Set the sort order of products within a bundle.
- The customer details panel now has a close button.
- Eposly permission sets are removed automatically when a user is removed from the team component.

## Bug fixes

- Fixed an issue where cash register events were not created correctly when EPC is not installed.
- Fixed an issue where the contact was not populated correctly when creating a new customer via POS in orgs without Person Accounts.
- The toggle for emailing order summary receipts after payment no longer shows when emailing is disabled in settings.
